Contests iN THE Absolut Park
Freestylers should definitely take part in the contests at Absolut Park – these competitions are also a real highlight for spectators.
December 14 and 15, 2024: JIB KING
Jib King kicks off the contest season at Absolut Park every year. This event in the Jib Park gives amateurs and pros the chance to showcase their jibbing skills. All skiers and snowboarders (women and men of all ages) are warmly invited to participate. In the pro category the riders have the chance to win a significant cash prize, while winners in other categories will be rewarded with high-quality gear. On Saturday, the amateurs will compete, and on Sunday, it’s the pros’ turn. Registration is free and takes place on the contest day at the Chill House.
March 8 to 15, 2025: SPRING BAT
During the Spring Battle, freeski and snowboard pros from around the world gather to celebrate the season’s end at this innovative contest. Riders have five days to refine their tricks and show off their best runs. The Follow Cam format, where riders film each other, is particularly popular. Every participant who submits an unedited video of their best run within the five contest days will be judged by a professional jury on the final day. Additionally, there’s a Best Trick Contest held daily. The entire event can also be followed online at spring-battle.com.
April 5, 2025: ZSAEP EXPERIENCE
The ZSAEP Experience is a freeski contest for young riders under 18, held on the Medium Line at Absolut Park. Registration is free and takes place on the contest day at the Chill House.
