19 km blue family slopes
Challenges for Every Skill Level
19 of the total of 40 kilometres of slopes on the Shuttleberg are easy, blue slopes, but of course there are slopes with different levels of difficulty. Families with children who already know how to ski or snowboard, but do not speed down black slopes all the time, therefore feel really comfortable with us.
Kid-friendly lifts
In addition, on the Shuttleberg you will ride exclusively on comfortable chairlifts with flat exits, which even small children and beginners can easily master. Our newest lift, the Lumberjack Shuttle, is specially designed for families with children: At the entrance, a conveyor belt with a lifting platform makes it easy for the little ones to get on and a self-locking safety bar guarantees safe mountain transport for all children.
Guaranteed snow & well-groomed
All slopes on the Shuttleberg are groomed daily by our experienced staff and are guaranteed to have snow – modern snow-making equipment and three storage ponds ensure (at appropriate temperatures) sufficient snow from December to April.
In addition, you will find many varied special slopes, which are fun for you and your children.
