SKI LIFTS AND SHUTTLES
The lifts on the Shuttleberg are called shuttles
because they are almost as fast and modern as a space shuttle. Seven detachable chairlifts with weather protection hoods take you comfortably up the mountain, so you can enjoy a short break and continue skiing or snowboarding soon.
The PANORAMA LINK connecting cable car between the three valleys of Snow Space Salzburg and the three valleys of the Shuttleberg Flachauwinkl - Kleinarl and the ski area Zauchensee opened in December 2020.
Lumberjack Shuttle
6-Seater Chairlift - Family-Friendly and Safe
The detachable lift with a bubble is located one kilometer below the Champion Shuttle mountain station. The valley station is situated north of a logging site in the forest of the Austrian Federal Forests. A logging site is a wood storage area and work site for loggers, which is why the lift is named Lumberjack — English for logger/forest worker.
At the valley station, you will also find the eponymous organic mountain restaurant, Lumberjack, which operates in the form of an alpine food hall. Since the 2020/2021 season, the Lumberjack Shuttle has had a sporty and challenging red slope running continuously from Fürstwand, leading directly to the valley station alongside the lift track in the lower area.
The Lumberjack Shuttle is specifically designed for families and children’s ski school groups.
t the entrance, a conveyor belt with a lift platform helps the youngest riders to board, and a self-locking safety bar ensures safe transport up the mountain, even if only one adult is in the lift with them.
Sunshine Shuttle
Six-Seater Chairlift - Fast and Comfortable
It takes you from the Flachauwinkl valley station to the mid-station and to the south-facing slopes of the Flachauwinkl valley descent. The mountain station is located directly across from the Sun House. Inspired by the sunny mountain ride, our guests have composed entertaining rhymes that adorn the weather protection covers of the Sunshine Shuttle.
Family Shuttle
The First Detachable Six-Seater Chairlift on the Shuttleberg
It was also one of the first lifts of its kind in the region. The weather protection covers are adorned with many colorful Crazy Dolls—the crazy mascots of the Shuttleberg, which are especially popular among children. The slopes at this lift are particularly diverse.
Absolut Shuttle
Directly at Absolut Park Next to the Chill House
The Absolut Shuttle six-seater chairlift quickly takes freestylers in comfortable, chocolate-brown leather seats to the highest point of the park. From the lift, you can overlook the park area and watch the freeskier and snowboarders. The lift is styled in a Wild West theme, perfectly fitting the motto of Absolut Park: "Cowboys ride it hard."
Powder Shuttle
This Lift Connects the Flachauwinkl Side with Kleinarl
Beneath the six-seater chairlift lies The Stash, a unique park with creative wooden obstacles that are integrated freely into the natural terrain. Kids and beginners will find the Lil Stash, featuring wider and easier boxes and rails, to be an ideal practice area. Of course, the north-facing Powder Shuttle also takes you to freeride routes with magnificent powder runs.
Bubble Shuttle
First Detachable Chairlift with Weather Protection in Austria
Built in 1990, it is still in top condition. With four seats, it is the only one of its kind on the Shuttleberg, but due to its high number of seats per hour, it has the same lifting capacity as all the other lifts. The red bubble slope is an ideal carving slope due to its width.
Champion Shuttle
Dedicated to Ski Champion Annemarie Moser-Pröll
While sitting in the comfortable red leather seats of the six-seater chairlift, the milestones of Annemarie's skiing career pass by you. It is located near two freeride routes and the black Champion slope, a sporty descent for the ski and snowboard champions among you. Of course, you can also leisurely descend via the Family Run Kleinarl valley.
Panorama Link
Pure Riding Pleasure Provided by the Panorama Link
It connects the three valleys of Shuttleberg Flachauwinkl-Kleinarl and the ski paradise Zauchensee with the three valleys of Snow Space Salzburg – Alpendorf, Wagrain, and Flachau.
The Panorama Link lives up to its name. The views of the mountains and the countless peaks are breathtaking and promise pure winter enjoyment. Naturally, the lift is state-of-the-art and modern. In just nine minutes, the fast ten-seater gondola transports winter sports enthusiasts from Wagrain-Flachau to the summit of Shuttleberg Flachauwinkl-Kleinarl.
At Shuttleberg and in Snow Space, the slopes and slope connections have been expanded and adapted for the new influx of skiers. Among other things, the entry into the Fürstwand slope to Kleinarl has been redesigned, and a new red slope has been constructed along the route of the Lumberjack Shuttle.
